One of the themes of my work is humanity’s relationship to the natural world. I base much of my work on the supposition that humans and nature are overlapping, no space exists between, and that they are in fact interchangeable not as a metaphor, but literally. The Meadowlark’s Song is it’s Gift to the World, which depicts an anthropomorphic form bearing the head of a meadowlark, is an example of interchangeability between humans and nature.
